Jen
Company president, member of Maine Made and a SBA certified woman owned business. Now the official licensed coffee of the University of Maine Black Bears, she was the winner of the 2020 BigGig pitching contest and named 'The most exciting start up company in Bangor' for 2020 by UpStart Maine. She was a cohort in the following entrepreneur programs: MCE TopGun Program, WBENC's National WeThrive Executive, MCE Cultivator Food and Beverage Accelerator and Upstart’s Scratchpad Accelerator. Additionally she serves on several advisory boards and is now a mentor for Maine Center for Entrepreneurs TopGun Program.
Chris
A disabled veteran, company founder and chief visionary officer. Originally from Presque Isle, Maine he is the company’s head coffee roaster, a certified technician and dealer for Rancilio & Rocket Espresso Machines and is a certified technician for Diedrich coffee Roasters. He is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association and a former professional competitive snowboarder. He first learned the art of espresso while deployed with the 101st Airborne to the Sinai Peninsula working with the United Nations.
Kayla I
Director of Operations, moved from Washington State to Maine in pursuit of a dream. Having grown up in the Seattle area where coffee is a culture, the daily cup is a cornerstone in her life. Avid maker with a strong interest in traditional crafts and bringing bits of the past into the present. Dreams of sailing the world to experience different cultures (and different coffees, of course).
Kayla II
Operations Assistant Manager, true Mainer through and through, she is a giver of comfort in the way of coffee and an expert wrangler of her beloved two-year old when she isn't serving or making coffee.
Dana
Operations, Roasting and Barista Training, Dana is also a certified technician for Rocket espresso machines. Originally from New Jersey, with ties in Maine, the love for coffee became a passion for crafting quality espresso drinks. As a long time barista with a love of design, sign making quickly followed along. Also a lover of nature, you can find Dana gardening or enjoying life off the grid with her cup of coffee.
